Wow, I got an invite to be a closed beta tester for Outspark's new game, "Dance Groove Online". O_O How? Lol, I dunno. I remember that a few months ago I started Fiesta, then quit >.> because it wasn't like FLYFF. :D Anyways, DGO is fun, yesterday was my first day playing it and I already made new friends. ^^ and I'm in a guild/club/clan? :D It's Darci's, called "DanceClub" but the name might just change in the OBT. and I fail...I have no screencaps.... DDDD:
I play Acclaim's "Dance! Online" also. DGO and D!O and two really, really different games. DGO is more one handed and a little bit easier than D!O.
So, for a while now, I've been part of the beta testing for WLM and usually, it is a pastime that I'm quite fond of, until WLM2009 Beta arrived on the scene.
Indeed, when I first started to test it, I was convinced it was the most awesome thing since GUI computers, until one very fine day, I happened upon "Windows Live Messenger cannot sign you in because your contact list is not available." WTF? C'mon, I just freaking used the thing and it signed the hell in, don't do this to me!!!
After my initial panic for all of approximately 8 seconds, I decided to try some solutions. Flushed DNS, didn't do shit. Deleted contact information, fruitless. Check connectivity, did it like 5 times, still nothing. Finally decided to google the error code and they came up with running the regsvr processes, so, I tried it, no avail.
At my wits end, I opened Task Manager and ended wlcomm.exe and msnmgr.exe, reopened the program and it worked! Yay!! Then, up comes another silly error...., when I IM contacts, they don't receive them...By now, I was seriously sleep deprived and ebuddy looked like a welcome solution, but I stuck to it, then when I right clicked on the messenger icon in the taskbar, there was no sign out option, neither sign in, I exited, then restarted and all was well.
All in all, WLM2009 Beta is utter shite, it headaches me, but I still use it because it looks "cool" and some masochistic side of me actually like solving errors. Now that I'm done ranting about it's cons, ^^ Download and try it and experience the pros with me. :3
